Review/Swatch - Cien - Tropical Red and Flamingo Pink

Hey,

this post is a review/swatch of two nail polishes that are pretty and cheap.

If you follow me on instagram (@nashitutorials) you might have seen a small review and swatches of this two nail polishes.

Cien - Tropical Red and Flamingo Pink

This nail polishes are by CIEN, (a LIDL brand, if you live in Europe, probably you know this supermarket). They are cheap, usually their price is 1,99€, but it was on sale, so it was 1,79€, which is really cheap, but just because it's cheap, doesn't mean it has to be bad, actually it lasts about one week, of course it depends on the nails, because each nail is different. The nail polish brushes are big and rounded, which is easier to apply the nail polish. I didn't apply a top coat.

Price: 1,99€ (1,79€ on sale)

Packing: it's simple and has the nail polish's name on it

Let's start with the Cien - Tropical Red

Cien - Tropical Red

This color is a red, but it has a little bit of orange and pink on it, it depends on the light, if it is sunlight/daylight or under a lamp, because of this, I think the "Tropical" on the nail polish's name suits well. What do you think? As you can see in the image above the nail polish bottle looks a little pinkish, the nails with the nail polish bottle red and the nails a little orange.

Besides that, the color is pretty.

I applied two coats of nail polish, but this color, one coat is good too, the next image shows you the difference of the nail polish without flash and flash and with 1 and 2 coats.

Cien - Tropical Red - 1 coat

As you can see, there's no really difference between 1 and 2 coats.

As without flash and with flash, it's normal you see some differences, the color tends to be darker without flash and more orange with flash, but this color even without flash sometimes it looks orange and pink.

Now Cien - Flamingo Pink

Look how pretty this color is! Actually, it reminds of a flamingo, don't you think? Again, the nail polish's name suits the color. This pink is a light pink/coral.

I applied two coats too, and in this color I see a little difference between 1 and 2 coats.

The two coats make the color more opaque, because the first coat you can see the nail a little bit.

The color is a little darker without flash, but it's pretty too.

One flower needs 3 squares and one circle (if you are using wire, you don't need the cirle). You can use any size for the squares (I used 10cmx10cm, and the smaller flowers a square of 5cmx5cm).
