DIY: Easy Paper Gift Bag

Hey,
today's DIY tutorial I'll be showing you how to make an easy paper gift bag!
It's really easy and simple, you don't need to buy small gift bags for small gifts, even though you can make these bags in any size.
I used scrapbooking paper with printed designs on both sides, but you can use cardstock or printing paper. You can also make your own designs on the paper.
I tried this DIY first on a piece of printing paper (I wanted to check the measurements and create a template), in my opinion I prefer scrapbooking paper/cardstock to create this gift bags, but if it is a light item you can make the bag in printing paper.

You can click on the image to save the template on your device.
I used a scoring board to score the lines, but you can use a ruler and the tip of the scissors or dotting tool to help you to score the lines.
I used a piece of paper measuring 25cmx16cm.
On the 25cm part I scored lines at 4cm, 12cm, 16cm and 24cm.
And on the 16cm part I scored at 4cm.
I folded on the scored lines and cut as shown in the video.
I assembled with double-sided tape, but you can use stick glue or any glue you prefer.

Things you need:
- Scrapbooking Paper (cardstock, printing paper, etc)
- Scissors
- Scoring Board (or ruler and the tip of scissors/dotting tool)
- Double-sided Tape (or any glue)
- Template (if you want)

Review: Madam Glam Gel Nail Polishes and Valentine's Day Nail Art

Hey,
today's post is a review of 4 gel nail polishes by Madam Glam! I also did a nail art using the gel nail polishes. Thanks Maria for sending me this to review!

These products were sent to review by Maria from Madam Glam New York, besides doing the review I also had to do a nail art. The theme for the nail art is "Valentine's Day".
Now starting to write a bit about the brand.
Madam Glam New York has been created in 2014 and they sell nail related products, such as gels, polygels among others. Their products are 9-Free Formula, Cruelty-Free and Vegan.
As for the Cruelty-Free and Vegan I think we all know what it means, they are not tested on animals and they are plant-based gel polishes. Now the 9-Free Formula means that their gel polishes don't have the 9 high toxic chemicals on them. They are free of Formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin, camphor, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, parabens and acetone.

Now the gel polishes!
It came in a pretty box, inside it has pink foam on the sides to protect the bottles.
They send me "Uptown Girl", "Perfect White", "Workaholic" and "Back to Cali". I like the name of the gels polishes.
The top os the polishes have the colour of the gel.

Starting with the "Uptown Girl" gel nail polish.
On Madam Glam website it is described as:
"Red Violet
A fabulous girl deserves a fabulous manicure! A perfect day or evening color to complement any outfit."
In my opinion this colour isn't a pink, red or violet! It is a mix of the three colours!
This colour is so pretty! I think the description fits the colour, it's a perfect colour to complement any outfit.

Now the "Perfect White" gel polish.
It is described as:
"Pure White:
You don’t need a traditional reason to wear a white mani! Express your desire to be sophisticated by wearing our perfect white gel polish!"
I actually don't have that much to say about this colour! White is white, it goes with every colour and nail art design.

Now "Workaholic" polish.
Described as:
"Desert Sand Pink
A perfect muted pastel pink that makes it its job your manicure looks perfect for weeks. You will definitely love it!"
It is described as a sand pink, but in my eyes it looks like a creamy beige colour.
This colour and Back to Cali, are very similar in my opinion.

And now "Back to Cali" polish.
Described as:
"Light lavender white
A creamy, pastel lavender, for those quiet lazy days spent on the beach."
This colour is more like a beige light lavender colour.

These two colours are a bit hard to distinguish one form each other. I would describe "Workaholic" as a creamy beige/very light dusty pink colour and "Back to Cali" as beige light lavender colour.

For the swatches I used fake nails colour display and painted two coats of each colour.
These gel nail polishes need a LED/UV lamp to cure.
Time to cure:
LED lamp: 30 seconds/per coat
UV lamp: 2 minutes/per coat
I recommend these gel nail polishes!

For the nail art I used false nails, I don't have a gel base and top coat, so I used fake nails.
If you are using the gels on your nails, don't forget to apply a gel base coat first.
The theme for the design is "Valentine's Day", so I did a very easy and simple design.
I applied two coats of the colours in each nails and cured each coat.
On my pinky I painted with the "Uptown Girl" and did a heart with the "Perfect White".
On my ring finger nail I painted white and did hearts and dots using the other three colours.
On my middle finger nail I did the same as on the pinky but changed the colours, painted with "Workaholic" and the heart with "Uptown Girl".
The index and thumb finger nails I did the same, painted with "Back to Cali" did a heart with "Uptown Girl" and outlined with "Perfect White".

Review: BeautyBigBang Stamper Replace Head

Hey,
in this post I'll be doing a review of the stamper head replace by BeautyBigBang, which is the BBB-010. I did a simple and easy nail art using this stamping plate! Thanks Maggie for sending me this to review!

You can use my code NASHI for 10% off on their website!

The stamper head comes in a plastic container, which is great and practical to carry the stamper in order to not damage the stamper.
This product measures 3,8cm of diameter.

I placed this stamper head on my stamper, but first I measured the two stamper heads. This one seemed a bit bigger just a small thing, like 1 millimeter. Although it seemed bigger it fitted perfectly on the stamper handle.

I cleaned the stamper with a piece of tape and then tried to stamp. The first attempt I couldn't pick up nor transfer the image very well, so I cleaned it better. The second attempt it picked up and transferred the image very well.

I recommend this product!

DIY: Miniature Room - Adabelle's Room

Hey,
today's DIY is a little different, I'll not show you how to make things, instead I bought one of those DIY miniature room kits. The DIY kit I'll be showing you is the Adabelle's Room.
I wanted to try one of those kits for so long, and found this easy and simple kit.
The picture shows you the box where the kit comes. On the lid it has a ruler, which I found awesome! This kit came with dust covers, but I didn't use them.
This kit includes everything you need to assemble the room, even white glue, but there are few items you might need, such as tweezers, thread, pliers, needle and scissors. If you don't like to sew, you can use hot glue instead.
The kit brings instructions on how to assemble, it is in Chinese but have images to help you.
Back to the tweezers, I didn't use tweezers because I don't have any. It's is possible to assemble the kit without tweezers, but it'll take more time to glue little pieces, so if you want to try one of those kits, use tweezers! It'll be faster!
I started by sorting the pieces, I have a look at the instructions and separated the pieces, so when I was assembling one furniture I have already the pieces in one place. I think it is easier.

DIY: Miniautre Room - Adabelle's Room

There is a picture of the room already assembled.
I glued the smallest wall wrongly, so I had to take the already glued wall and glue in the right position. That's why you might see the paper a little bit torn.
This kit has lights, so you need to pay attention to this. First thing, you want to pass the cables (of the lights) through a small hole that one of the walls have, first the cables and then the furniture, so you can hide the cables. As you can imagine, I just passed on cable and glued the bed. Forgot to pass the other cable, so I have to remove the bed and pass the cable.
One of the hardest part of building the bed, was to attach the gold chain. First you want to glue that and then the sides, and with tweezers help!
The furniture itself was easy to assemble.

Here is a closer look of the bed and pillows.
I didn't like to work that much with the fabric, it was hard to sew the first pillows (the blue ones and the white with flowers), but then the other two were easier. The fabric was fraying a bit. You can use hot glue instead of sewing. It's easier and faster.

As I stated before, the kit brings led lights and the power supply, you only need batteries.
These two pictures shows you the kit with the light on.

One more picture, with the beads I glued them to create perfume bottles. It has pictures, a cut bag, lots of books!

Review: BeautyBigBang Latex Cuticle Protector

Hey,
in this post I'll be doing a review of the latex cuticle protector by BeautyBigBang, which is the BBB-010. I did a simple and easy nail art using this stamping plate! Thanks Maggie for sending me this to review!

You can use my code NASHI for 10% off on their website!

The product comes in a black box with an opened window, you can see through the box the bottle.
The bottle has a gold cap and it contains 12ml of product.
There are 5 different colours available, which white, dries clear, blue, light green, purple and pink. Those 4 colours when they dry they still have colour.

This product smells a little bit as fish, but it works very well.

I didn't do a nail art with this, I just applied the latex cuticle around my nails and painted two nails as I normally do, but painted it all over the skin too (index and thumb finger nail).
The pinky and middle finger nails I did an ombre using the fan brush, as you can imagine it's messy. And on my ring finger nail I applied mermaid powder.
After doing that I peeled off the latex and the nails where perfect, but I used a nail art brush and nail polish remover to clean better.

I recommend this product! Besides the stinky smell, it works well!
